·         Started learning Violin at the age  of  6 years  under the able guidance of Kanaka Purandara Prashasthi Awardee ( the highest honour from the Govt. of Karanataka in the field of Art ) Sangeetha Vidya Sagara Late. Vidwan Sri R.R.Keshava Murthy the only Violinist playing the Seven  Stringed Violin (  a contemporary of Violin Maestro Late Sri. Mysore T. Chowdiah ).

·         Vocal Training  from Ganakalashri  Smt. Nagavalli Nagaraj and Kavya vachana training from my father Sri. Kadaba Subramanya, also a graded artiste in the Kavya Vachana section of AIR, Bangalore.

PRIZES & AWARDS :

·         Won a number of 1^st prizes in the Inter High school and Inter collegiate competitions, competitions conducted by various organization such as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Gayana Samaja,  Sri Nadajyothi Sangeetha sabha, The East Cultural Association, Rotaract Club of Bangalore to name a few.

·         Participating in the Income Tax departmental cultural competitions  held by The All India Central Revenue Sports Board ( CRSB ) cultural meet at various zones such as Bangalore, Chennai, Calcutta, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Goa, after joining the department since 1994 and winning several 1^st Prizes both in Violin and Vocal performances, till date.

·         Receipient of scholarship from The Karnataka Sangeetha Nrithya Academy twice for a period of 3 years each in the Vocal and Kavya Vachana category.
